Everything about the Makoy was top notch! Clay and Matt did an excellent job answering all of our questions and anticipating all of our needs, from food to decorating to being prepared for the many children that attended our reception. Anything that you would need, they were ready to take care of it. Erin and team also did an amazing job decorating the room, giving our reception a classy, personal touch. We received several compliments on the food and drinks, and indeed, the food was amazing! As a nice touch, we received goodie bags with our appetizers, entrees, and extra slices of cake. If you're planning a wedding in the Columbus area, you must absolutely consider the Makoy!

If you are questioning whether to pick the Makoy or not for your big day, DO IT!!! We had our wedding reception in The Emerald Room and it was, simply put, the best day of our lives and that was in large part thanks to Matt Eder, Erin Pearson, and their team at the Makoy! .... We just can't say enough about how amazing the Makoy is and their staff there. Pick the Makoy for your big day, you won't regret it!

The Makoy was such a sentimental pick for us and we are so glad we made the decision to get married there. Matt, Adrian, Clay, and Erin were incredibly helpful, quick, and polite throughout the entire planning process. They went above and beyond to make us feel special on our wedding day, making adjustments quickly and with grace. The Makoy was truly dreamy, accommodating, and considerate, ensuring our day was perfect. The price was a plus too! We couldn't have asked for a better wedding venue and highly recommend The Makoy to any couple looking for an unforgettable experience.

The location is easy to get to, there is plenty of parking, the staff is amazing to work with and the indoor space is great! I have seen both of the large rooms set up for "ordinary" meetings & events, and also transformed into beautiful wedding venues.

I have hosted a few events at the Makoy Center including my own wedding reception in the Emerald Room. I will always refer people looking for a full service venue here.  Matt and Clay and their entire team are responsive professionals who are thoughtful and have always gone out of their way to meet our needs or accommodate special circumstances. They have always been fully invested in our experience there at the venue and we've always been beyond pleased. The food and service are always 5 star and the property itself is well maintained and decorated. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the Makoy Center. Highly recommend.

My husband and I hosted our wedding at the Makoy Center and it was the most magical night of our lives. Our ceremony was held outside and the reception was in the Emerald room. Between the ambiance of the Emerald room and the creative touch of our wedding planners the room was beautiful and elegant.The entire experience was awesome. The staff was helpful and easy to work with and the food was phenomenal! We highly recommend considering to host your next event here!
